Support, honestly

Agon is run by one person. Support is by email, best-effort, usually within one business day. There is no phone line and no SLA. In exchange: your data stays on your own computer, and the person who built it is the person who reads your email and fixes things.

Agon is local-first. Even if the founder is unreachable and the central server is down, Agon keeps running on your computer — bookings, check-in, memberships, everything. Nothing is held hostage.

What does "self-hosted" mean — where does my data live?

Agon runs on your own Mac or Windows computer. Your database stays on your machine — Agon never stores or accesses your studio's data on its own servers.

Is the download free? Do I need an account?

Yes, the download is free. Agon currently requires no subscription, no account with us and no activation: download the installer for macOS or Windows and start using it.

Do I need technical skills to set it up?

No. Agon installs like any other desktop application on your Mac or Windows PC — there's no server to set up or maintain yourself.

How does the AI Assistant work?

The AI Assistant uses your own AI provider key (for example Google Gemini or Groq) or a local model. Prompts go directly from your computer to the provider you choose — they never pass through Agon's developer. Without a key, in-app help is a local search of the documentation.

What's included?

Everything: class scheduling, client management, online booking, memberships and payments, check-in, and reports. No paid modules, no add-ons, no per-seat fees.

What is the secure tunnel for?

It lets your mobile app and remote devices reach your studio's Agon installation safely from outside your local network, without exposing your database directly.
